A new location, a new dining experience.

Dear Friends,

Iovino’s Ristorante will be relocating in 2010. We are in the process of building another “small” kitchen and restaurant space directly behind the Renaissance in the building on the corner of Washington and 2nd Street. The restaurant will be located next to The Baguette (which will be moving over in the building), and Iovino’s Catering Cucina & Ristorante will occupy the middle of the building with our entrance on Washington Street.

The style of dining will bring something new to the Corvallis area and allow me to get back to creating menus for our patrons’ dining pleasure, in a small, intimate setting, with a comfort level of home. Basically, I want all of you to come to “my house” for dinner. Our patrons can view our weekly menu on-line, and it will be required to make a reservation for that evening’s dinner. We will start with one seating on the evenings that we are open, and if there is the demand we are hoping for, we will have two seatings a night. We will not be able to take walk-in business.

The new site will feature an open kitchen, with the dining room seating up to 30 guests. The restaurant will offer a private setting for groups under 30, and serve reservation-only dinners a couple evenings a week. If you are interested in receiving information on our opening date, weekly menus for the select evenings of dining, and our special event calendar.

If you are dining with us, we have forms that you can fill out with your e-mail and give it to your wait person.

I will also be offering monthly cooking classes, wine dinners with our local wine makers and a monthly community table dinner. Our Platter Menu and take-out pasta dishes will still be availalbe for pick-up if ordered within 48 hours, and of course, our full-service catering is always available. We have built up a great Friday lunch business and plan to open every Friday for lunch for walk-in customers. We are available Monday thru Friday to bring lunches to your place of business for groups of 20 or more (48 hour notice).

Iovino’s Catering and banquet business will not be interrupted during the process, which is the part of our business that has grown larger than the restaurant. The restaurant will continue operating in the Renaissance until February 14, 2010. We will still be here for Valentine’s Day. Make your reservations early.

Fridays 11:30 to 2:00 and 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Friday is the only day we are open for lunch.
Saturdays 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Sundays 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Mondays 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Mondays - All you can eat Spaghetti Nigh - served Family-Style.
Tuesday-Thursdays the restaurant and banquet room is available for private events.
Iovino’s will still be using the banquet room in The Renaissance to book events, and also the Top of the Elements Building now called The Vue and off-site full-service catering.

Crimini Mushroom Caps - sautéed and marinated in a balsamic-garlic red wine vinaigrette, filled with whipped gorgonzola cheese, garnished with roasted red peppers. (.75 cents each, suggest three per person - $2.25)

Organic Greens - tossed in a balsamic-citgrus vinaigrette garnished with cucumbers, cherry peppers and roasted red peppers. (Dressing to be added when serving) ($2.00 per person)

Romaine lettuce - chopped and tossed in a lemon garlic dressing with grated Pecorino Romano cheese, fresh lemons and two garlic crisps per serving. ($2.75 per person)

Meditteranean Sweet White Onion Salad – thinly sliced sweet white onions marinated in virgin olive oil, white balsamic, oregano and fresh lemon. ($1.75 per person)

Grilled Chicken - (chicken breasts grilled at Iovino’s), marinated in a lemon, basil, garlic dressing, sliced and fanned on a platter served with basil pesto potato salad or seasonal vegetables and garnished with sundried tomatoes. ($6.75 per person)

Grilled Chicken Salad – tossed in a rice-wine vinegar citrus vinaigrette, with dill, cucumbers, purple onions and roasted red peppers, garnished with mandarin segments. ($5.50 per person)

Grilled Chicken Salad - tossed in a pomegranate-citrus vinaigrette, tossed with cranraisins, walnuts, gorgonzola, mint and purple onions. ($6.00 per person)

Grilled Chicken Skewers - with red peppers, white onions, cherry tomatoes, Lemon wedges and marinated grilled chicken, drizzled with fresh lemon and Italian parsley. ($4.25 per 8”skewer)

Oven-Roasted Eye of Round Beef - sliced thin and served with a smoked chili aioli and fresh tomato and Italian parsley salsa. ($5.00 per person)

Grilled Tiger Prawns - wrapped in Pancetta and fresh sage, served with a fresh tomato salsa and lemon wedges.
($3.75 for each Shrimp – suggested two per person)

Tiger Prawns - sauteed in a basil-pinenut pesto sauce. (served chilled) ($2.50 for each Shrimp – suggested two per person)

Tiger Prawns - marinated in a lime-mint vinaigrette topped with feta cheese. ($2.50 for each Shrimp – suggested two per person)

Bresaola – Thinly sliced cured beef topped with fresh basil chiffonade, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon and cracked black pepper, topped with shavings of Pecorino Romano cheese, and garnished with salsa fresca. $6.00 per person.

Desserts - Iovino’s offers are house specialty Tiramisu. (must be refrigerated until served) Full piece $7.00 per person ½ piece $3.50 per person

Information:

Delivery in Corvallis - $20.00 (each way) – must confirm at least 25 guests for delivery or pick-up.

Our platters are not disposable. We ask for a return on our serving items within 24 hours of event.

Confirmation is requested 48 hours (two days) prior to event for all orders under 50 guests, however we appreciate confirmation at your earliest convenience to hold your space in our reservation book.

18% gratuity is added to all food & beverage orders for pick-up, delivery and full-service catering.

Labor is charged by the hour. Servers & Bartenders @ $12.00/hour – On-site Chef - $25.00/hour 18% gratuity is added to ALL FOOD AND BEVERAGE along with labor charges.

If paying with credit card, we regret to add a 3.5% to total bill, processing fee charged by merchant credit card processing centers.

For full-service catering, Iovino’s can take care of all your rental needs (tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, etc.) There is limited supplies on these items and booking your date at your earliest convenience will help insure your reserved items are available.
